Jem Perucchini

Jem Perucchini is a young Italian artist known for his unique style that blends tradition and modernity. Born in 1995 in Tekeze, Ethiopia, he developed a passion for art from a young age, drawing inspiration from the great masters of the Renaissance as well as contemporary art. He studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, where he honed his technique and began exhibiting his works, quickly gaining recognition for his vibrant oil paintings characterized by layered colors that combine classical elements with a modern aesthetic.

Through a keen observation of reality, Perucchini creates surreal scenes defined by a strong use of color and light, along with enigmatic portraits of characters with elusive gazes. His refined paintings, marked by an almost Renaissance-level attention to detail and the fusion of classical and contemporary elements, offer a fresh perspective that looks both forward and back at the imaginaries of his homeland.
